A Snapshot of 2025: What We Achieved Together

19 December 2025      Emma Walton-Pond, Communications Officer

As we reflect on the year, we wanted to take a moment to pause, step back, and look at what we’ve achieved together. The data in our Snapshot of 2025 tells a powerful story - one of connection, collaboration, and a membership that continues to show up for one another in meaningful ways.

Across 2025, we offered 135 activities for you to take part in, including more than 37 hours of free webinars. Collectively, you booked an incredible 9,946 places across events, meetings, webinars, and training sessions, demonstrating a real commitment to learning and development.

In response to the year’s challenges, we developed series such as Transformation Tuesdays, which saw hundreds of you join us over several weeks to explore practical, solution-focused strategies. We celebrated our Award winners with well-deserved praise, and throughout the autumn, many of our legal experts delivered crucial updates to help you stay informed. It’s been a busy year, but a purposeful one, and we’re grateful that so many of you were able to join us despite busy diaries and increasing workloads. These sessions really can be invaluable, and wherever possible, recordings are available in our events archive for you to catch up on.

We developed a member network page - a dedicated hub for our network groups, detailing all the latest resources and upcoming events and a knowledge board page - a space for us and our members to share role and subject-specific resources, insights and articles.

Our Annual Conference gave the microphone to over 100 speakers, partners and HEIs, further enriching our learning and helping to shape thoughtful, relevant conversations across the sector.

We launched our UHR HR Remit Survey 2025, with a detailed report, downloadable dataset and launch event recording all designed to provide you with fresh insights on the size and scope of people teams across our sector and how they are responding to the most pressing challenges they are facing.

Perhaps most heart-warming of all is the level of peer-to-peer connection. With over 28,000 discussion views on our boards and thousands of resources downloaded, it’s clear that this community isn’t just accessing content, it’s actively learning, sharing, and supporting one another every day.

Thank you to every member who attended an event, joined a discussion, downloaded a resource, or contributed their insight. Your engagement is central to the success and value of UHR membership, and we’re incredibly grateful to be part of such an open, collaborative, and generous community.
