7 practical ways that university HR teams can use AI to
save 20 hours per week - with 5Mins AI
Join James Francis from 5Mins AI and Emma Brookes from UHR to explore 7 ways AI
can reduce repetitive university HR administration. Through practical
demonstrations and higher-education examples, we'll show how to build
repeatable workflows and identify opportunities to save time, whatever your
current level of AI experience.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
Identify 7 HR tasks where AI could reduce repetitive
work and choose a useful starting point.
Build clearer prompts and reusable instructions using
context, examples and a defined output format.
Apply AI to planning, learning content, job
descriptions, meeting follow-up, policy FAQs and staff communications.
Check outputs, work within institutional data-handling
rules and create a 30–60–90-day plan to test and measure improvements.
