We are pleased to confirm that this network will continue to operate for the 2026-2027 year. We will continue to provide a safe space for UHR members to discuss the challenges and opportunities in this core area of people practice.
The group will meet four times per year to discuss a range of issues affecting practitioners with opportunities to share best practice and collaborate. The issues to be discussed will concentrate on key HR & OD operations and administrative processes, including the various methods of service delivery.
Feedback collected in a member survey has determined the topic/s that will be discussed at each meeting, although there will also be time for topical and urgent issues that members are facing.
At this meeting, the headline topic for discussion will be Process Improvement in HR Operations: Doing More with Less.
The network is underpinned by Terms of Reference, which outline the principles of confidentiality and other key details. An MS Teams site has been created to share documentation and ask questions between meetings. Our UHR Networks Sign Up Service is a quick and easy way to sign up to the network distribution list and get access to the Teams site. You can access resources from previous meetings on the dedicated webpage.
Please note that you will now need a full access UHR web account to book a place at these events. If you don't yet have a UHR web account, please click here to register. If you already have a basic-level e-learning account please email membership@phes.ac.uk so we can upgrade your account for you (no additional cost involved).
When you book a place on this event you will receive a Booking Confirmation email from notifications@uhr.ac.uk. Please note that this email will have an icalendar.ics attachment that you can open to save the details in your calendar of choice. Joining instructions will be issued closer to the time of the event.
This event will be held in MS Teams, therefore please be aware that your email address will be visible to other attendees. Any queries with your booking, please contact Emma.
When you receive your joining link, please do not share the link or forward to other colleagues. We have a limit on participants to ensure that the session is interactive and only those who have registered via our website will be able to join.
These sessions are usually not recorded or transcribed as the group operates under Chatham House rules due to the sensitivity of matters being discussed. Anonymised notes may be taken during the meeting to be shared with other members. If any segment of a session is going to be recorded, you will be advised in advance.
Accessibility Statement: We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. This meeting will be facilitated using MS Teams, MS PowerPoint and collaboration tools such as Mentimeter, Slido and Padlet. You can enable live captions by clicking the settings button (three dots) and choose TURN ON LIVE CAPTIONS. You can find step by step instructions here. If you have any access requirements that we can assist with to support you in attending this online meeting or if you would like more information, please contact Emma.
